Jim Dalton has been a trailing and visual tracking instructor with the Canine Training Academy for over 12 years. He has completed a 100
hour instructors course and a certifying official class here in Colorado and has logged hundreds of hours as an instructor for our school. Jim specializes in teaching students to track subjects visually . He is currently employed with the Colorado Department of Corrections and has severed as a visual tracker and backup K9 handler for the inmate escape team for over 19 years.
He has participated in numerous large scale man hunts for local, state and federal agencies. He regularly attends K9 training where he teaches training techniques and visual tracking skills within his department. Jim is a wonderfully friendly and humorous instructor with real world deployment experience to share.
